Package Tour Itinerary: Fantastic Morocco & Essaouira

Upon arrival at the Marrakech airport, you will be greeted by an English-speaking assistant to provide you with all the necessary information for your stay in the city and accompany you in the transfer to the hotel in one of our private vehicles and help you with registration. The rest of the day will be to relax and enjoy the city at your own pace.
Marrakech is one of the most important cities in Morocco and one of the four imperial cities along with Meknes, Fez and Rabat. Founded in 1062, it was one of the country's capitals and has the largest traditional market in the region and one of the busiest squares on the continent and in the world.
Greca Tip: If you have free time, the Jemma El-Fna square is one of the places you must visit in Marrakech.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up to start the journey to Essaouira, formerly called Mogador, it was an important fishing port, which would later be known as the capital of the hippies. This relaxed and peaceful Moroccan town located in the west of Morocco and bathed by the Atlantic is the perfect place to disconnect and rest from the hustle and bustle that characterizes big cities.
In the Berber language, Essaouira means "wall" and travelers from all over the world do not miss the opportunity to explore this beautiful city with French, Portuguese and Berber architecture, its special climate and its delicious fresh seafood.
You will start the trip through the attractive Moroccan valleys bathed by orange groves, olive groves and farms. After your arrival in Essaouira, you will be surprised by the contrast of its medina bordered by walls and occupied by bazaars that are easy to navigate along the sea coasts. Its amazing beaches are the ideal place for surfing and visiting the port is almost the same as traveling back in time.
You will have free time to enjoy the local gastronomy (optional) and then continue your route along the Moroccan coast to Casablanca, first passing through Mazagan, a city of the Portuguese colony between the 16th and 18th centuries that was later abandoned and taken over by Sultan Muhamed III and renamed as "El-Jadida", here you will visit the citadel with its huge carved stone walls and if possible you will go down to the Cistern.
At the end of the visit you will return to the road to Casablanca, where upon arrival you will register at the hotel where you will have dinner and stay.

After a tasty breakfast you will visit the city, starting with the Boulevard of the Corniche, the seafront promenade and the coastal road, through which you reach Anfa (old quarters of the historic city), a famous neighborhood in which its luxurious houses stand out. The tour will lead to the exterior of the Great Mosque of Hassan II, a monumental and modern work (sliding roof and resistance to earthquakes) that holds the title of the third largest mosque in the world after Mecca and Medina (optionally you can visit the inside). It is the most representative monument of the 20th century.
Departing from Casablanca through the road and fertile valleys until reaching Meknes, a World Heritage Site and one of the four imperial cities along with Marrakesh, Fez and Rabat and former capital of Morocco. You will visit the fortified city starting with its walls and great gates (bab, in Moroccan): Bab el Mansur, the largest gate in the country and in North Africa, the Agdal Pond, built for irrigation in the area, the Bab Square Lahdim, epicenter of the city's activity. Then you will have free time for lunch (optional).
Finally you will arrive in Fez where you will stay and have dinner.

After a delicious breakfast you will begin the visit through the Golden Doors of the Royal Palace, seven bronze doors of different sizes represent the seven days of the week and the seven levels of the monarchy. You will visit the Medina (old quarter) with its Madrasa of Bou Anania (the madrasas are the Islamic schools), the Nejjarine Fountain, one of the most beautiful in the medina and the oldest in Fez, the Karaouine Mosque, one of the most important centers cultures of Islam with a library with more than 30,000 copies, in addition to the headquarters of the University of Fez, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, the most revered saint in Morocco.
You will make a stop along the way in the famous neighborhood of the tanners, unique in the world, to later have lunch (optional). In the afternoon you will continue to get to know Fez and its beautiful artisan neighborhoods divided by guilds.
Finally you will return to the hotel to stay.

After a tasty breakfast at the hotel you will go to the Imperial City of Rabat, capital of the kingdom and second most populous city in the country. The visit will begin with the Royal Palace and seat of government, "Dar el Makhzen" where more than two thousand people reside. Later you will visit the Kasbah of the Oudaya, a fortified space of Berber origin dating back to the 12th century, a World Heritage Site. You will continue through the Mausoleum of Mohamed V (10 years of work and the collaboration of more than 400 artists), the unfinished Mosque and the Hassan Tower, monuments of the Berber dynasty of the 12th century.
At the end of the visiti you will have free time to lunch (optional) and then continue the route to Marrakech where you will have dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Tip Greca: The Arabic term ribat or rábida refers to the building that functioned as a fortress and monastery, and which is located in the center of the city.

After a delicious breakfast, you will begin your visit to the city of Marrakech, the magical red city.
Your visit will begin with the Menara Gardens, on the outskirts of the city. These gardens with a 14-hectare park in the center of which is an immense 12th-century pond. Later you will go to the city center to see the majestic Koutoubia minaret, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville. You will also visit the Bahia Palace built in the 19th century.
You will have lunch in the hotel and later you will continue the tour in a magical place: the Yemaa el Fna (People's Assembly) Square, declared a World Heritage Site. In the morning you will find sellers of orange juice and other fruit, wicker baskets, souvenirs, sweets, jewelry, dentists, healers, commissioned writers. This universe becomes particularly fascinating at nightfall, when the square is lit up with a thousand lights.
Free afternoon and return to the hotel for accommodation.

After an exquisite breakfast you will leave early for Zagora, along the main road that passes through the highest mountain pass in North Africa, the Tizi-n-Tichka (2260 meters), you will pass through incredible landscapes dotted with small towns and vegetation. You will go to the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, an old obligatory stop for camel caravans, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Considered the most impressive ksar (fortified city) in southern Morocco and the best preserved in the country, which as the sun shines takes on different shades of red depending on the time of day. It has also served as the setting for numerous films.
You will have time for Lunch (optional) and later continue to Zagora, passing through the Anti Atlas massif, through Tizi N'Tniffift, Agdez, and Draa with its innumerable palm groves (an estimated 11 million palm trees). You will arrive at the hotel where you will have dinner and accommodation.

After a tasty breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up to begin your journey to Erfoud.
Your first destination is the town of Tamegroute known for its spectacular green glazed ceramics and for having been one of the most important centers of learning and religion in the Islamic world. You will continue the tour passing through Nkob, one of the oases that close the way to the desert, Tazzarine where you can see spectacular desert landscapes and Al Nif (known by gemologists and mineralogists from all over the world for being the place where the most meteorites have been found. and trilobites), along the way you will be able to observe herds of wild dromedaries and a semi-lunar landscape that you will not think is real.
You will have free time for lunch (optional), and follow the road to Erfoud, passing through the city of Rissani, cradle of the current dynasty (Alaouite dynasty) and an old commercial center in which its market and its famous donkey parking stand out, which shows an authentic Morocco, which has several monuments of interest such as Ksar aber or the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif.
Upon arrival in Erfoud you will stay and have dinner.

After an exquisite breakfast, if the clouds allows, you will have the opportunity to optionally attend the beautiful sunrise show in the dunesof Merzouga.
At the agreed time you will leave for Tinghir where you will find one of the most beautiful landscapes of the trip "the Todra Gorges", one of the most spectacular rocky canyons in the world and a place of great reputation among climbers. you will have free time for lunch (optional) and follow the course to Ouarzazate (the door of the desert) passing through "the route of the kasbahs", a series of adobe fortresses with battlemented towers made of raw brick and the "City of Roses" (Kelaa de los Mgguna ), a small fortified village where the damask rose (resistant to cold and drought) is grown, one of the most valued species in the world whose flowering extends from mid-April to mid-May.
After your arrival in Ouarzazate you will make a small panoramic visit of the city and then go to the hotel where you will have dinner and stay.

After a rich breakfast, you will be picked up to start your transfer back to Marrakech.
After your arrival in Marrakech you will have free time to optionally take an excursion or you will be able to tour the city at your own pace, you will have lunch in a typical restaurant in the city (optional).
At night you will have dinner at the hotel and accommodation.
