These temples are part of the Open Air Museum of Nubia and Aswan, and are close to their original location, where they were relocated, piece by piece, due to the increase in the flow of the Nile River that caused the construction of the Aswan Dam. The rock-cut temples were commissioned by Ramses II and completed within 20 years to commemorate the Battle of Kadesh, being dedicated to the worship of the great deities without forgetting, of course, Ramses himself.
