General Information of Argolis

 

Argolis is a peripheral unit of Greece; it is in the eastern part of the Peloponnese region. It owes its name to the oldest city in Greece: Argos.

Geographically, mountains and mountains can be found in the west, east, and northeast of the region, while to the south and east lie marvelous beaches on its coasts. In the central part of the prefecture, its most fertile and ideal lands for cultivation are located.

In this region, you can also find important archaeological sites such as Mycenae and the city of Argos.
