A trip to history
The excursion to Argolida, Mycenae and Peloponnese in September 2018 was a trip to the history of humanity, beautiful places, with the mystique of the past. Excellent trip, the services received were first class. The company exceeded all agreed upon. Unforgettable

Terrible experience
After an hour going around Athens they make me change buses and change to another full to satiety. An awkward seat in the back. The guide very disappointing. Food was only possible in a restaurant away from any other place, without the possibility of eating for free

Highly recommended
It was a very good trip, both in organization and in its development. The schedules were totally fulfilled and we spent a day full of knowledge transmitted by our guide. Along with the lessons learned, there were moments of relaxation so the activity was very pleasant

good excursion, improvable
The guide was excellent. The organization at the start was messy, slow and generated protests and discomfort in some travelers. The lunch was bad. In sum; The cost / benefit ratio was bad.

Phenomenal. Highly recommended.
The tour was phenomenal. Review that the guide, Zoé, has been the best we have found in the many excursions we have done throughout Europe and the rest, and there have been many. Personally without Zoé's enthusiasm and knowledge, I don't think it would have been the same. Chapeau

A lot of history and many kilometers
The tour is fine overall. I give the guide a 10, with extensive knowledge of the subject and very well explained. On the other hand I consider that he spends a lot of time on the bus. The stop in the Corinthian canal very brief, although sufficient. At lunch I give a suspense.

Good excursion nefarious food
Beautiful excursion, but the food stop if you go with a menu to get it prepared well, if you order dishes, they do not have the majority. We ordered spaghetti and after waiting 20 min, they came only cooked with a little cheese, without sauce or meat ... ideal to stay hungry and silly face.

The Argolis
The collection on the bus was very early and it would have been better to be at a specific point. The guide was very good and spoke excellent Spanish, but we saw too quickly both Epidaurus and Mycenae, we also do not understand why you arrive so soon back to Athens

Peloponnese was a great chapter of Hellenism. This is where the Doric warriors first settled, in Sparta, as well as the place where the myths of Menelaus, of Paris and of the beautiful Helen were also born. Furthermore, in Peloponnese, King Pelops who named the region, grandson of the gods, was inspired and invented the Olympic Games. Lastly, according to Homer, Mycenae, the place of the gold ,was where King Agamemnon gathered the Helens before their departure to Troy.

ARGOLIS, MYCENAE AND AGAMEMNON - FULL DAY TOUR TO PELOPONESE
ARGOLIS, MYCENAE AND AGAMEMNON - FULL DAY TOUR TO PELOPONESE

Early in the morning, at the appointed time, we will pick you up from your hotel or closest meeting point to start this great excursion to Mycenae, one of the major centers of Greek civilization.

At first, we will make a stop at the famous Corinth canal, called Isthmus in Greek, to take panoramic photos of the spot where the Peloponesse and Central Greece unite, as well as the Aegean connects with the Ionian Sea. This canal was completed in the latter 19th century during the governorship of Charilaus Trikoupis and reduces the sailing time instead of cirmumnavigating the Peloponesse for more than 400 km.

We continue our journey past towns with a rich history and an eminent presence in modern Greece, until we reach the Acropolis of Mycenae. Mycenae was once the center of the Mycenean or Achaean civilization.
According to mythology, the city was built by Perseus with the assistance of the Cyclops (one-eyed giants). Once you are in the inner chamber, you can inspect the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion Gate, the Tombs of ancient kings, the Palace, the 99-step water cistern, the tomb of Aegisthus and the tomb of Clytemnestra among others, all these presented to you in a detailed and passionate commentary by our guide. Close to the Acropolis of Mycenae lies one of the greatest splendors of this civilization: the tomb of King Agamemnon. At noon, we will take a lunch break and rest.

Our next destination is the eastern Peloponnese and the seaside village of Galatas. From there we will make the short ferry crossing to the Island of Poros, where we will have free time to stroll in its quaint little streets or stop by a seaside Greek traditional tavern for a snack and a cool drink. Early in the afternoon we will return to Athens.
