The lovely Athena excursion
I really liked the tour and especially that they speak to me in Spanish. All very friendly, ideal temperature and few agglomerations since it was in the month of April. I would like to go back

Experience in Athens
We were simply delighted with our tour of Athens, but we want to highlight the work of the tour guide who was magnificent. We are willing to return at another opportunity. Thank you.

Useful
The tour was super educational and helpful, especially for the plus of having a guide in Spanish who delved us more into Greek history and its origins. We will certainly repeat it with more space to visit Delphi and other corners of Athenas.

The bus is not fancy
the Tours and the Gogo Guide, very good, wonderful places for its history, but the bus to Meteora, the seats very close from one row to another, should think that in this tour 900 km round trip are traveled and the buses should be more comfortable in terms of space and also have a bathroom.

Visit Acropolis.
All very well. Our guide Graciela of the best. The must-see museum. The only "detail" is the excessive amount of people.

City tour in Athens
The tour was conducted in Spanish. The designated guide was excellent, he mastered Spanish and showed a very broad knowledge of the sites visited. The bad point was that they did not pick us up at the agreed place for the meeting and we had to take a taxi and run to another place in the center.

Excellent Accompaniment!
Grreca was a pleasant experience in our visit to Greece, starting with Javier's attention in hiring the different tours. The guides for their part, very knowledgeable about the Hellenic culture knew how to enrich the experience. I do not hesitate to recommend to my friends and family

Punctuality and knowledge
The Athenas tour was very good both in the punctuality to pick us up at the designated place, the bus driver very responsible. The guide informed us and transmitted all their knowledge, the only thing that would have been necessary would be a microphone to be able to listen better in the Acropolis.

Disappointment
I contracted the visit with great emotion because I am in love with the Hellenic civilization. Pity about the amount of time spent (including early mornings, waiting, collecting more tourists from other trips) for the result obtained. Value for money, terrible. A shame.

Very large groups
The guide is informed and provides interesting data. The bus ride only for an overview. In the Acropolis there are many people and at the time that the place arrives it was saturated, in addition to the fact that the group we touched with was very large, which made it very difficult to listen to the guide.

Very large group
I think the groups are very large and the guide does not have the necessary equipment to be able to give an explanation that everyone could hear. They should have radios with headphones to be able to listen.

Excursion Itinerary: Athens Sightseeing Tour With Acropolis Museum

VISITING THE CITY AND ACROPOLIS MUSEUM
VISITING THE CITY AND ACROPOLIS MUSEUM

Built in the Attica Basin, Athens, the modern capital and largest city of Greece, lies between Mount Parnitha, Penteliko, Hymettus and the Saronic Gulf. The importance of its geographical position and its mild climate were the main reasons that the first inhabitants chose to settle here. The citizens of Athens, together with their rich history, produced a brilliant civilization and thus made an incomparable contribution of universal value to mankind.

Our road trip begins at 08:15 am, with a panoramic tour of the main monuments of Athens. Among the monuments and places of interest, we will have the chance to visit the famous Syntagma or Constitution Square, National Gardens, the Presidential Residence, Hadrian's Arch, the Greek Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, where the Evzone soldiers change guard in honor of the fallen in battle, and last but not least, the University, Academy and National Library, or simply the Trilogy of Athens, which all have recently been restored.

There will be two stops during our tour: the first one at the old Panathenaic Stadium, or as the Greeks call it, Kalimármaro (good marble). This is the place where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896, but also was the site of another major event in antiquity known as Panathenaic Games, in honor of Athena the patron of the city. As we continue our tour, we will visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus, which was completed by Emperor Hadrian many centuries later, showing his passion for Greek culture. The "main course" of the day is our visit to the "sacred rock", the famous Acropolis and symbol of Athens. Once there, we will have the chance to appreciate some of the most well-known Monuments of Classical Greece, such as the Parthenon, Erechtheion, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Propylaea.

Last but not least, we will go on with this tour with a visit to the most important museum of the city, and one of the five most celebrated museums in the world owing to its cultural, sculptural and archeological heritage.
