Cruise Itinerary: Turkish Gulet To The Northern Dodecanese From Bodrum

Our boarding will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the port of Bodrum, where the captain and the crew will be waiting for us to begin this wonderful adventure along the Turquoise Coast. We will have free time to visit the most important places in the city. This wonderful city was the birthplace of Herodotus, considered "The Father of History", who lived in the 5th century BC.

In this city, we can also find one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World "The Mausoleum of King Mausolo". The only structure that survived from the Classical Era is the Amphitheater.

Our ship will stay anchored in Bodrum for overnight.

Greca tip: Throughout the tour, you can enjoy swimming at the different stops, so we recommend that you do not forget to bring your swimsuit.

After a tasty breakfast you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and Gulet.
When the customs formalities are completed, you will cruise to Kos Island, one of Greece’s Dodecanese islands, is known for its abundant sandy beaches. It’s also rich with Greek and Roman landmarks, particularly in and around Kos Town.

You will have free time to explore the city by yourself, and to have dinner on your expense at the restaurant of your preference.

We will spend the night in the port of Kos.

Greca Tip: Some of the most known beaches in Kos are Exotic Beach, Lagada Beach, Agios Theologos Beach, Tigaki Beach & Agios Stefanos Beach.

In the early morning you will set off for Leros' famous Xirokampos bay for breakfast, lunch and a swimming break. Afterwards you will cruise to Leros, a beautiful mountainous, green island with high cliffs, many small bays and villages.

Depending on the weather conditions,  entrance to Lakki Harbor or Agia Harbor (on the eastside) will be made. Platonos, the centre of the island, is a very pleasant area for strolling with its steep stairs, narrow streets and flower gardens.

You can see Leros Castle by climbing 300 steps from Platanos!

You will have free time to walk around the town and to try the restaurant of your preference for dinner.

Greca Tip: You can explore the island on foot or by renting a bicycle.

In the early hours, you will cruise to Patmos Island, one of the smallest but well-known Greek Islands because it is home to St. John, and where he had his encounter with Jesus in the so-called grotto of the apocalypse after having visions or revelations that, later, gave rise to the book of the New Testament, Apocalypse.

There you will have a swimming break in one of the beautiful bays around the island, and after breakfast, you can join the optional St. John Monastery and Apocalypse Cave tour, or have free time to walk around the island at your own peace

Overnight stay will be in Patmos Harbor.

Greca Tip: This monastery, which once housed 1,700 monks, only has around 25 today.

In the morning and during breakfast you will cruise to Lipsi Island. There will be a swimming break on one of the smaller islands in front of Lipsi.

In Lipsi there are many beaches with crystal blue waters such as Platis Giolis. The city centre with its white houses, a beautiful square with many cafeterias, taverns and restaurants is located in a small natural harbor on the island. The churches Catopanaghia (7th century) and Panopanaghia (15th century) are worth visiting.

In the late afternoon you will have free time to try some of the restaurants or taverns of the island and have a local dinner.

Greca Tip: don't miss the oportunity to try the goat cheese "Touloumotyri", and a local version of whey cheese called the "Mizithra".

In the morning you will cruise to Kalymnos Island where you will have a delicious breakfast and take a swimming break in a beautiful bay around the Island.

In the evening you will have free time to enjoy the local restaurants and then spend the night in Pothia Harbour.

Greca Tip: The islanders in Kalymnos have earned their living by sponge diving for centuries.

Early in the morning you will cruise back to Turkey, your entry will be made where Customs procedures will follow. Afterwards, a swimming break will be given in the Aquarium Bay where the fish will accompany you while swimming in the crystal clear waters. Located between two islands to the west of Kekova Island, this lagoon-shaped bay is a worthwhile stop on your tour of the region.
