The rest of the day will be to relax and enjoy the city at your own pace.
Marrakech is one of the most important cities in Morocco and one of the four imperial cities along with Meknes, Fez and Rabat. Founded in 1062, it was one of the country's capitals and has the largest traditional market in the region and one of the busiest squares on the continent and in the world.

After a delicious breakfast, you will begin your visit to the city of Marrakech, the magical red city.
Your visit will begin with the Menara Gardens, on the outskirts of the city. These gardens with a 14-hectare park in the center of which is an immense 12th-century pond. Later you will go to the city center to see the majestic Koutoubia minaret, twin tower of the Giralda in Seville.
You will also visit the Bahia Palace built in the 19th century, the Berber Pharmacy, where you will find all kinds of natural remedies. The visit will end in a magical place: the Yemaa el Fna (People's Assembly) Square, declared a World Heritage Site. In the morning you will find sellers of orange juice and other fruit, wicker baskets, souvenirs, sweets, jewelry, dentists, healers, commissioned writers. This universe becomes particularly fascinating at nightfall, when the square is lit up with a thousand lights.
Free afternoon and return to the hotel for accommodation.
Greca Tip: Try a fabulous orange juice in Djemaa el Fna Square, you won't regret it

Finished your fabulous breakfast you will go to the mountains of the High Atlas via the Col of Tizi N'Tichka. You will see how the color of the landscape changes, from the green of the valleys, to the red of the Col de Tizi N'Tichka until you reach Ouarzazate (the door of the desert), a small commercial point in the journey of the African merchants to reach the north of Morocco and Europe. During the French colonial period it served as a supply city, administrative center, customs office and base for the French aviation. The most important film studios in Morocco (Atlas Studios), the largest in the world, are also located here. Free time for lunch.
You will continue with the City of Roses (Kelaa of the Mgguna), a fortified village where the damask rose is grown (resistant to cold and drought), one of the most valued species in the world whose flowering extends from mid-April to mid-May. Then you will travel "the route of the kasbahs", a series of adobe fortresses with battlemented towers made of raw brick located in a spectacular landscape where the desert and the mountains meet.
Dinner and accommodation in Tinghir.
Greca Tip: In the Valley of the Roses, you can take advantage of the occasion to buy its exquisite rose water or some perfume.

After a typical and tasty Moroccan breakfast you will go to one of the most beautiful landscapes of the trip "the Todra Gorges" and one of the most spectacular rocky canyons in the world, a place of great reputation among climbers.
Then you will go to Erfoud, an increasingly difficult path but it will be worth it just to see that the towns we will pass through will be more and more authentic as you enter the lands of the people of the desert. Erfoud is considered the gateway to the desert and an ancient trading center. You will visit a fossil extraction center and you will be surprised to discover the incredible amount of aquatic life that existed in the past.
Accommodation and dinner at the hotel.
Greca Tip: You can take the opportunity to bring a fossil as a gift.

After a tasty breakfast you will go to discover Merzouga in a 4×4 vehicle around the Erg Chebbi dunes where the tracks of the old Dakar rally ran. You will discover the daily life of the nomads in the area, you will have tea with a family, see wild oases in the middle of nowhere, incredible landscapes, small villages, desert settlements and palm groves. Then you will make a stop in the town of Hassi Labied, where you will walk through a palm grove and an orchard, and learn about irrigation through ditches and water conduction.
Then you will visit the town of Khamlia, of great historical and cultural interest, it is the town of the descendants of the first freed sub-Saharan slaves, black-skinned people who arrived in Morocco thousands of years ago, who stand out for the music and dance "Gnaoua ". You will return to Merzouga by dromedary up and down dunes while you enjoy the fantastic sunset to stay and have dinner in a camp.
Greca Tip: Don't forget sun protection, sunglasses and a good hat to spend the day in the desert.

Before breakfast you will have the option, if the weather is good, to enjoy the incomparable sunrise over the desert with another camel ride. Later, after a nutritious traditional breakfast, you will get into the 4x4 to head to Rissani, 22 km from Erfoud, a small and attractive city both for its surroundings and for its history. Its market and its famous donkey parking stand out, which show you an authentic Morocco that has several monuments of interest.
Next you will go to Al Nif (known by gemologists and mineralogists from all over the world for being the place where more meteorites and trilobites have been found), where along the way you will be able to observe herds of wild dromedaries and a semi-lunar landscape that you will not think that it is real. You will also pass through Nkob, one of the oases that close the passage to the desert.
Later you will arrive in Agdez where you will stop to enjoy the beauty of the Draa Valley with its supernatural palm grove and its river to then continue along the possibly most beautiful road in Morocco to Ouarzazate, where you will have dinner and stay.
Greca Tip: It is almost an obligation to try the dates of the Boufegoous variety in the oasis of Nkob.

Ouarzazate, known as "the door of the desert", is close to the Atlas Mountains and was a small trading point on the journey of African traders to reach northern Morocco and Europe. During the French colonial period it served as a supply city, administrative center, customs office and base for the French aviation. The most important film studios in Morocco (Atlas Studios), the largest in the world, are also located here.
After a delicious breakfast you will leave for the High Atlas mountains to Col de Tizi N'Tichka, to reach one of the most interesting places of the trip: the Kasbah of Ait Ben Hadou, an old obligatory stop for camel caravans, declared a World Heritage Site. Humanity by UNESCO. It is considered the most impressive ksar (fortified city) in southern Morocco and the best preserved in the country, which takes on different shades of red depending on the time of day. It has also served as the setting for numerous films.
Finally arrival in Marrakech for dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Greca Tip: Today it is forbidden to forget the camera.

After an exquisite breakfast and at the agreed time you will transfer to the airport of Marrakech.
After spending some fantastic days with Greca, we hope to see you again to enjoy some wonderful moments that will remain forever in your memory. Have a good trip, or as you say yourself, Rihlat saeida!
