Package Tour Itinerary: Amalfi Coast And Turkey

When you arrive in Rome, also known as the Eternal City, a private vehicle will be ready and waiting to welcome you and take you to your hotel.
As you journey to the hotel, you'll get a glimpse of why Rome is considered the epitome of historical richness in the Western world. You have the rest of the day free to unwind and enjoy the Italian capital at your leisure.

After a nice breakfast, you will have free time to explore the 'Eternal City' at your own pace. You can choose from a variety of options, such as walking, visiting monuments, going shopping or simply tasting the local culinary delights, including pastas, veggies, meat, and fish.
Optionally, you can book a guided tour in English with exclusive, skip-the-line tickets and visit the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica, or the magical Colosseum.
Greca Tip: It is advisable to use public transport to reach the furthest points of the city, such as the Catacombs or the Vatican, and be sure to stock up on bus tickets ahead of time because you cannot buy them on the bus.

Early in the morning and after a tasty breakfast, you will have to get to Rome Termini to your own to take the train to Naples, the gateway to southern Italy.
Once in Naples, our guide will wait for you at the station to continue to Pompeii and stroll among the archaeological remains of its ancient city, where we will observe, with incredible accuracy, what daily life and architecture were like in the first imperial era, before the eruption of Vesuvius.
After visiting the beautiful Pompeii, you will continue the tour through the Sorrentine coast. Once in Sorrento and after having your dinner, the time to rest at your hotel has come.
Greca Tip: Remember to bring a bottle which you can fill with water at one of the public drinking fountains.

After enjoying breakfast, at around 07:30 AM, you will join your local guide for a memorable sailing excursion to the famous island of Capri. This stunning destination has been favored by the upper class of ancient Rome for centuries. The boat ride lasts approximately 20 minutes, and you will arrive at the enchanting Marina Grande port.
Once you arrive, you will visit Anacapri and have some free time to explore. Later, you will return to Sorrento, where you can savor a delicious dinner and unwind.
Greca Tip: Please be aware that since 2019, tourists are not permitted to bring plastic items to the island of Capri in order to protect the coastline.

After enjoying a delicious buffet breakfast in the morning, at around 10:30 AM, you will embark on a scenic journey along the Amalfi Coast towards Amalfi. Along the way, you will make a captivating 2-hour stop in the vibrant town of Positano, renowned as one of the jewels of the Amalfi Coast.
In Positano, you will have ample free time to wander through its charming narrow streets adorned with boutiques. You can also take a refreshing swim at the beach or visit the revered Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta. According to local tradition, this church was built when a Byzantine icon of the Virgin was brought to Positano, and it continues to be cherished by the community.
Afterward, your journey will continue to Amalfi, the main town of the mountainous Amalfi Coast and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, you will have free time to stroll through the captivating streets, admire the cathedral, or simply relax by the marina and marvel at the incoming boats.
Upon arrival in Amalfi, you will check in to your hotel and spend the night in this picturesque town.

Later, you will be transferred directly to Naples, where your train journey back to Rome will commence. You can expect to arrive at Roma Termini station around 7:00 PM.

After enjoying a delicious breakfast, we will arrange a transfer for you to Rome Airport, where you will board your flight to Istanbul.
Upon your arrival in Istanbul, formerly known as Byzantium and later Constantinople, our team will be ready to welcome you. You will be transferred to your hotel in one of our comfortable private vehicles. After checking in at the hotel, the remainder of the day will be yours to unwind and begin exploring this captivating city at your own pace.

Continuing our adventure, we'll make our way to the awe-inspiring Göreme Valley. Here, we'll be enchanted by the open-air museum, which showcases churches intricately carved into the rock and adorned with beautiful frescoes. The rich history and spiritual atmosphere of this site will undoubtedly captivate us.
In the afternoon, we'll be treated to the breathtaking landscapes of Pasabag Valley. As we explore the area, we'll marvel at the incredible cave dwellings and the famous limestone fairy chimneys that dot the scenery.
Our next stop will be Avanos, a town renowned for its pottery heritage that dates back to the Hittites.
