Cruise Itinerary: Telemachus Until Santorini

At about 08:30 a.m. the bording to the cruise will start and the ship is ready for the journey at 11:30 a.m. Sailing is the ideal time to enjoy the sun on deck, observe the deep blue of the Aegean or entertain ourselves with one of the many activities and services offered by the cruise. Onboard, Greca Viajes includes full board, 2 excursions and a package of unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, so that our only concern is to have a good time.
Your first destination will be the famous island of Mykonos where the cruise ship will dock from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. before continuing your itinerary through the wonderful Greek islands. Mykonos is the meeting point of the international "jet set" for its wonderful beaches, dazzling shops, and vibrant nightlife that contribute to its well-deserved reputation. Moreover, you may also wish to visit the historic island of Delos, the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis according to Greek mythology. This small island, inhabited since 3000 a.C., was one of the most significant cultural centers of Antiquity. Finally, you will have the opportunity to pre-book other excursions organized by the cruise company to yet more fascinating places of these destinations.

At 07:30 am, after a calm and comfortable night's cruising, you will awaken at the Turkish coast and in the port of Kusadasi. The starting point of your shore excursion will be the ancient city of Ephesus once visited by Saint Paul, Marc Antony, and Cleopatra, among others. Ephesus was one of the twelve Ionian cities and flourished as an important cultural, religious and commercial center.
At noon, the cruise will depart again, this time to the island of Patmos where Saint John wrote the Apocalypse and Jesus Christ was revealed to him in the Grotto of the Apocalypse.
From 05:45 pm to 09:00 pm, you will have the time to visit the cave, the monastery dedicated to Saint John and to stroll in the port of this small but so important island.
Tip Greca: Be sure to buy a souvenir from the small shops in the Port of Patmos that will remind you of your stay in this fascinating place.

After a peaceful night's sailing, you will wake on the famous island of Rhodes, which once hosted one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, "the Colossus of Rhodes".
From your arrival, at about 07:00 am until your departure at 6:00 p.m. you will have a whole day to explore the renowned medieval town of Rhodes, recognised by UNESCO a World Heritage Site, the Acropolis of Lindos or simply lay back and enjoy the natural beauty of the largest island in the Dodecanese island complex.

After a generous breakfast, you will arrive at the largest of the Greek islands, Crete. Exactly to the port of Heraklion, capital of the island and former home of King Minos and his Minotaur.
This city was the most important of the Minoan civilization, where the Palace of Knossos, the oldest palatial complex in Europe, is located.
Around noon, after enjoying some free time, the cruise will leave to the amazing and picturesque island of Santorini. The approach to the island is fascinating and it is the ideal time to photograph the city of Fira, with its white houses hanging on the slope that faces the volcano.
Around 4:30 p.m. our cruise ship will arrive at the fascinating island of Santorini where you will disembark to enjoy at your own pace in this fabulous island.
From Greca we hope to see you again to enjoy some wonderful moments that will remain forever in your memory.
Greca Tip: Take your seat and enjoy one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world from one of the many coffee shops that are located on the cliff.
