Cruise Itinerary: Aegean
After your arrival in the mythical city of Athens, the transfer to your hotel will be conducted in one of our private vehicles. A member of our English speaking team will meet you at your hotel, help you with the check-in, inform you of all the details of your trip, introduce you to the city and its everyday way of life and answer any questions you may have. The rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy Athens at your own pace.
Greca Tip: Extend your stay by adding nights at Step 1 of 3!
After your breakfast and at the appointed time, you will commence the panoramic tour of the Athenian Neoclassical Center: the Parliament, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, the University, the Library, and National Academy, the Ilion Palace, the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Gate, the Panathenaic Stadium, and many other monuments and sites of great interest. You will learn all there is to know about their history and background from the licensed English-speaking Tour Guide accompanying you on this tour.
After the panoramic tour, you will visit the "sacred rock", the spectacular, unique and magnificent Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. The entrance fee to both sites is included. At the end of the visit, you can either choose to return to your hotel or set out on your own adventure through the charming and picturesque streets of Plaka.
In the evening, a walking tour is included and will take you through the prettiest areas of Athens, such as Anafiotika, Thissio, Monastiraki, and Plaka.
Greca Tip: In Plaka look for something alluring, like ceramics, musical instruments, handmade jewellery to specialty food shops stacked high with olives and spices.

In the morning and after a tasty breakfast, one of our vehicles will be waiting for you along with your assistant to transfer you to the port of Piraeus, where you will embark on your cruise ship. During the cruise, you will enjoy the brilliance of the sun, the deep blue of the Aegean and take part in the activities and services offered. In this package, Greca includes three meals, two excursions, and unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. In this way your only concern will now be how to make the most of it and have a great time.
Your first destination will be the famous island of Mykonos where the cruise ship will dock from 6:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. before continuing your itinerary through the wonderful Greek islands. Mykonos is the meeting point of the international "jet set" for its wonderful beaches, dazzling shops, and vibrant nightlife that contribute to its well-deserved reputation. Moreover, you may also wish to visit the historic island of Delos, the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis according to Greek mythology. This small island, inhabited since 3000 a.C., was one of the most significant cultural centers of Antiquity. Finally, you will have the opportunity to pre-book other excursions organized by the cruise company to yet more fascinating places of these destinations.

At 07:30 am, after a calm and comfortable night's cruising, you will awaken at the Turkish coast and in the port of Kusadasi. The starting point of your shore excursion will be the ancient city of Ephesus once visited by Saint Paul, Marc Antony, and Cleopatra, among others. Ephesus was one of the twelve Ionian cities and flourished as an important cultural, religious and commercial center.
At noon, the cruise will depart again, this time to the island of Patmos where Saint John wrote the Apocalypse and Jesus Christ was revealed to him in the Grotto of the Apocalypse. From 5:45 to 21:00 pm, you will have the time to visit the cave, the monastery dedicated to Saint John and to stroll in the port of this small but so important island.

After a peaceful night's sailing, you will waken in the famous island of Rhodes, which once hosted one of the seven wonders of the ancient world, "the Colossus of Rhodes".
From your arrival, at about 07:00 am until your departure at 6:00 p.m. you will have a whole day to explore the renowned medieval town of Rhodes, recognised by UNESCO a World Heritage Site, the Acropolis of Lindos or simply lay back and enjoy the natural beauty of the largest island in the Dodecanese island complex.

After a generous breakfast, you will awaken in the largest Greek island, Crete. More precisely you will start your day in Heraklion, the capital of the island and home of King Minos and his minotaur. This city was the most significant of the Minoan civilization, with the oldest palatial complex in Europe, the Palace of Knossos.
Free morning and then around noon we will depart for the amazing and picturesque island of Santorini. As our cruise ship approaches the island we are filled with admiration and awe. It is the perfect moment to capture the beauty of the capital city of Fira and its white houses overhanging the cliff that overlooks the volcano. From 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. you will be able to explore it through its winding narrow streets and watch one of the most beautiful sunsets in the world, from one of the numerous pastry and coffee shops burgeoning on the hillside.

After your arrival at the port of Piraeus, a member of our staff will drive you to the Athens International Airport. Undoubtedly and after spending some fantastic days with Greca, we hope to see you soon in order to create new and emotional moments that will remain forever.
Have a nice trip!, or as Greeks say, Kalo taksidi!
